Chitembwe throws in the towel?

Caps United coach, Lloyd Chitembwe seems to have given up any hope of salvaging hi position at the reigning champions if his statements after their 2-0 Castle Lager premiership loss at the hands of Yadah FC are anything to go by.

The loss was Caps United’s second after falling 4-2 against Al Ahli Tripoli in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League in Tunisia.

“I am disappointed by this loss especially knowing the expectations of the club and the players” said a visibly stricken Chitembwe.

Chitembwe for the first time questioned his qualities and shortcomings at the helm of Makepekepe in a revealing post match interview.

“At the end of the day it is about the coach. Sometimes I really need to look at myself and my position which is very critical.

“Sometimes you feel you are not doing what you are supposed to be or are expected to do. Maybe somewhere out there is someone better who can take the team further,” added Chitembwe.
