Madiz resurrects at Harare Carnival

Long forgotten Rhumba musician Madiz took fans back memory lane, performing his yesteryear hit tracks- Kazevezeve and Amina at an event part of the ongoing Harare international Carnival.

Backed by the Talking guitars, Madiz set one of the 1st street stage alive with yesteryear hits that made him and the urban grooves genre popular.

A number of local groups also graced the stage which was sponsored by Devine Assignment who also host the Samba night on Friday night.

Born Itai Madzikura, Madiz (34) started singing in 1998 in Gweru, where he rose to fame with the likes of Nasty Tricks and Tony G.
