Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) top winner Ishan of the Kure fame is in what seems a rocky relationship if his speech at the ZIMA awards is anything to go by.
Ishan who won awards for Song of the Year and Artist of the Year at last Saturday’s ZIMA gave a confusing speech while accepting his last award of the glamorous night.
“I would like to dedicate this award to my girlfriend.
“I don’t know if she is here or not though,” said Ishan.
His speech left many wondering how does a man who had the most nominations and went on to win big not know if his girlfriend was part of the crowds on that night which saw other artistes all colourful with their loved ones.
On January 26, a day after the awards Ishan went on updated his Facebook profile as being in a relationship with one Benniey Ruvah Mootccie, an Art Design and Architecture graduate from Monash.
A move seen by many as Ishan’s frantic moment to prove that he was actually in a relationship.
However it took a few days for Mootccie on the other hand to update her profile to match Ishan’s.

Meanwhile the artist is alleged to have duped a music promoter Sevious Pasipanodya of SVS International after he failed to show up for a gig dubbed Summer Slam in South Afrcia last year in September.
Pasipanodya said he paid R10000 for flight tickets and undisclosed performance fee but Ishan did not show up.
He also revealed that Ishan had agreed to pay back the money but up to now he has not yet settled the debt.
